There’s a reason the Chinese have been drinking green tea for over 4,000 years and with the West increasingly opting for a cup of the green stuff, green tea is no longer a beverage choice reserved for the chronically healthy or yoga-obsessed! Oozing with antioxidants, exceedingly hydrating and pretty darn tasty too there’s a multitude of reasons why, if you haven’t already, you should indulge in a cup (or three) of Clipper Green Tea.

Antioxidants

Let’s be honest. As hard as we try, sometimes we just aren’t as good to our bodies as we should be, so it doesn’t hurt to try and protect ourselves a little from things such as the sun pollution and smoking, by enjoying a cup full of antioxidant-rich Green Tea.

No additives or funny ingredients

Ever looked at nutritional information before and wondered whether what you were consuming was even a word or simply another figment of Mary Poppins’ imagination? With Clipper Green Tea we like to keep it simple with just two words because it is: green tea, that’s it.

Thirst quenching

According to the health bods, we’re supposed to drink at least 2litres of fluid a day and after what seems like your 48th cup of water, occasionally it’s nice to mix things up with something a little more…flavoursome. Green tea is over 99% water, fat free and because its caffeine content is so low it hydrates rather than dehydrates. Perfect for when you think you may be developing a water allergy.

Tastes great

So we’ve listed all the super-healthy and completely sensible reasons why you should drink green tea, here’s a more straightforward one: it tastes great! Things that are good for you often have an unfortunate habit of tasting rather awful, but we are pleased to announce that Clipper Green Tea isn’t one of them! With our huge range of light and refreshing teas, whether you’re a green tea purist or more of a peppermint fan there’s something to treat everyone’s tastebuds.
