CLIPPER SIPPERS REVIEW OUR NEW RANGE OF INFUSIONS

July 9th, 2012, 02:22

Last month we were very excited to announce the addition of six new infusions to our range and to celebrate the launch of these new flavours we decided to make them our Tea of the Month. We asked our Clipper Sippers to use their exper-teas to tell us exactly what they thought of the new arrivals!

Tea reviewed: Zen Again

“This truly is a lovely and well balanced blend that has left me feeling relaxed and at ease. Perfect for those relaxing days by yourself or with friends/family. Simply put the kettle on, brew this tea then put your feet up and relax, you will be taken on a relaxing journey without having to lift a finger (well, only to raise your mug).

I rated this tea as 10/10. I meant every word in my blog review, this tea is wonderful and I cannot think of any way to improve it (don’t fix what’s not broken). I also rate high points for the fact that this tea is organic, natural and caffeine free.”   Kayleigh

Tea reviewed: Love Me Truly

“The smell of this tea reminds me of old traditional sweets I used to eat as a child. I think they were called Clove Rocks? The colour was much lighter than I was expecting and has a cloudy appearance. As I’ve mentioned with the other infusions, I was bowled over by how subtle the taste was. It was warm and spicy, mild and comforting. I was definitely pleasantly surprised by this one!”  Lisa

Tea reviewed: Rise and Shine

My first sip was lip puckering lemony which gives you a bitter, sweet and sour explosion all at once. For me it’s the sort of thing that would help to awaken my senses in the morning but I suppose it would be great for those who adore super strong lemon tea at any time of the day. The Yerba Mate adds depth and keeps it together nicely, without it I would imagine this tea would be like sucking a fresh lemon. It’s so lemony it reminds me of lemon drop sweets.”  Kayleigh

Tea reviewed: Cloud Nine

Fetching the best china was not necessary as the boxes are just gorgeous, stealing any attention from my spotty teapot! First Pick was Cloud Nine, which was divine. Soft and refreshing taste, I was just as happy to drink this when I had been nattering too long and it had gone cold! ” Sophie

Tea reviewed: Snore and Peace

“This has a minty, floral flavour which is tasty yet fairly subtle and airy. After the first taste of mint you get floral lavender and then zesty lemon flavours that come out to play. The smell reminds me of lavender and herbal pillows that you can buy to aid your sleep only in this case you have a lovely drink instead.”  Kayleigh

Tea reviewed: After Dinner Mints

“Double Mint is my No.1! The underlying sweetness of the Spearmint was just as evident in the taste as well as the smell. It left a wondrous tingly mint feeling on my tongue.”  Sophie

 Tea reviewed: The range

“Fruity and zingy, the new infusions range boasts a variety of innovative and exciting blends of our favourite flavours. The aromas which emanate from the very boxes themselves give a tantalising insight into the taste sensations which dwell within. Our favourite blend; After Dinner Mints is just an example of the fresh offerings now available to tea enthusiasts everywhere.” Joshua
