This month we gave ten lucky people the chance to try our brand new Dandelion and Burdock infusion. All we asked in return is that you share your exper-teas and send us a short review.
We had such a great response (after all who would say ‘no’ to free tea?) and received some fantastic reviews, we have shared our favourite with you here J
“I’m not a great fan of fruit teas as they always smell so amazing but taste so bland! However this tea was very different. Its a fruit tea without the disappointment! and it really does taste like the drink…only hot, and without the fizz! It also wasn’t as sweet as I imagined it to be. I handed it out the everyone in the office and they were all suitably impressed too! I even managed to convince a few coffee drinkers and fruit/herbal tea haters to try it and they loved it too! Definitely a winner!” – Hannah
“Dandelion and Burdock Tea is an acquired taste and an intense flavour. One that conjures up memories of quaint old sweet shops and bags of aniseed balls for only a few shillings. If you are fond of ‘Dandelion and Burdock’ in a soft drink then this tea is a must for you. The bonus of the tea over the soft drink is you can enjoy this unique infusion time after time, bag after bag, saving your pennies and warming your cockles. If you are like minded to me and you love tea but hate waste then try re using your bag throughout the day and the aniseed aroma will still be evident from the first cup through to the last.”- Phoebe

We absolutely love this Dandelion and Burdock tea, when you sip it almost feels like melting butter on your taste buds. The aniseed really comes through in
it’s after-taste! We’re definitely converted to fruit tea now, we’re always trying to discover new teas to suit all the tea moods we didn’t think existed until we tried them! We think it’s really great how the packaging is eye-catching and appealing which makes it nicer to have tucked in your draws and cupboards at home, ready to infuse.. All at the ease of a flick of the kettle!
Hi, just wanted to thank you so much for this tea!
I am currently undergoing withdrawal from topical steroid creams and this is very painful due to the high levels of nitric oxide that build up in the blood and cause the skin to go red and inflammed.
Research led me to find that dandelion and burdock both reduce levels of NO in the blood, so i have been drinking it to help my skin. it also has liquorice root, which is anti inflammatory.
I gave the tea a big-up on my blog. http://topicalsteroidwithdrawal.blogspot.com/2012/03/day-114.html
I love the aniseed taste of the tea. it reminds me of liquorice and blackcurrant. i am going to recommend it to the other steroid withdrawal people on the google support group.
YUM YUM!!! This is my favourite fruit tea ever!
