Some of our lucky team are currently in Africa to visit the Fairtrade farmers who grow our award winning Organic teas.
Check out the first blog review below, and keep an eye out this week as there will be more to come.
“Spent the day travelling from Nairobi to kerichio, beautiful countryside and some impressive estates with pristine villages built for the workers.
Then arrived at Finlays, a small ‘county’ making tea, growing Fairtrade flowers, timber works and an instant tea plant.
Good tour around gardens and Chomogonday factory amid some serious monsoon style rain, August is supposed to be dry, no wonder crops are good and prices are fairly stable”.
We’re very envious of the team out in Africa, ensuring that Clipper remain true to our founding values of Fairtrade and Organic.
