The party season certainly got into full swing at the weekend, the Clipper Christmas party was nothing to do with Green Tea consumption; though it was observed that the packing of tea helps you work up a thirst!
Like everyone else, the team at Clipper have had a busy year – we’ve redesigned our look, launched new packs, the website & sent tea out to our 60,000 tasters. Our last job before we embrace the holiday season fully is to get the packs ready to take the Fairtrade Mark; we will be extending our Fairtrade offering to the entire Green Tea range from February 2010. To bring a bit of seasonality to the job in hand, we have been keeping our spirits high and hands warm with some warm and spicy Green with Chai. A little tip I picked up earlier this year that is definitely worth passing on, try dropping a green chai tea bag in with the basmati rice for added Christmas spice, lovely, and perfect to accompany the obligatory turkey curry.
